Financial Trust Company Nigeria Limited (FTC) was incorporated in Nigeria on the 11th of May, 1976 under the Companies Act 1968 and is privately owned. It was duly licensed to carry out stockbroking business having been admitted to dealing membership of the then Lagos Stock Exchange (Now The Nigerian Stock Exchange) in 1977. The Company is one of the leading stock brokerage firms in Nigeria, being the FIRST indigenous stockbroking company, FTC has been very active as one of the leading operators in capital market and has on several occasions acted as broker to the Federal Government development stocks. It has also acted as stockbroker as well as an issuing house to government parastatals, many notable reputable insurance companies and industrial firms. The company has a solid asset base of over =N= 2 billion.

ALEXANDER OMONIYI AJAYI
Group Managing Director
Mr Ajayi has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the American University in Washington D.C., a Master degree in Applied Economics from University of Buckingham in the UK and one year of doctoral studies (PhD Economics) at Columbia University, New York. His business background includes stints in the telecommunications, financial services and utilities industries. He is also a director of Cumberland Oil Ltd, a player in the downstream sector of Nigeria hydrocarbon industry and Motorcity Nigeria Ltd (promoting motoring and motor sport development in Lagos, Nigeria). Alexander is a dual Nigerian and Canadian citizen.
ANDREW ADEMOLA AJAYI
Director
He holds a LLB Law from the University of Leicester UK, a Post Graduate Diploma in International Commercial Law from the University of Nottingham UK and MSC Marketing & Business Management from the University of Bedfordshire UK. He worked in various organisations in the UK such as IBM Debenhams and GFK NOP. He returned to Nigeria in 2008 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2009. Prior to joining Financial Trust Group, he worked at Templars Barristers and Solicitors, Lagos State Lottery Board and The New Practice Barristers and Solicitors. He has vast experience in Company Secretarial services, Company Law practice, International Trade Finance, Oil and Gas Transactions and Property Law practice.

Ovo Emorhokpor is a founding partner at Beta Ventures a Delaware registered Venture Capital firm operating in Nigeria.
Beta Ventures has two funds under management and fund II is anchored by Triple Jump B.V. out of the Netherlands. It invests in early-stage technology enabled companies. He is also a co-founder and a Director of Siziba International Ltd., a pan‐African investment firm. Notable investment by Siziba is Amayi Foods, owners of the popular brands – Toma Peppe, Poi Poi Sauce and Rodo Peppe.
Ovo is a seasoned executive with over 20years experience in senior- level roles in technology and corporate business development in the US and Nigeria. His past professional experience includes managerial positions at Goldman Sachs, AOL, and Chubb Insurance.
He sits on the boards of Ajo Card, Produce Africa Technologies Ltd., Abia Retail Company (ARCO) Ltd., and Financial Trust Group in Nigeria.
He obtained his B.A Computer Science from Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey, USA and his MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA.

Ambassador Garrick has a Bachelor of Arts ( Languages) from the University of Ife. He has over 35 years of public service and international affairs experience. While serving as a diplomat at various Nigerian embassies in Africa, Europe and the Americas, he managed political and economic relationships including trade and investment issues. He served as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Brazil, Bolivia and Paraguay and was awarded the Brazilian national honour of Grand Cross of the Order of Rio Branco. He currently serves on the Boards of Chemical and Allied Products plc and Relais Limited. He is the President of the Policy and Governance Forum, Abuja.
DR. AMINU BABA NABEGU (MNI) FIBM, AMNIM

Aminu Baba Nabegu was born on the 25th May, 1957 in Kano city. He holds a B.sc (Hons) degree in sociology from Bayero University and an M.sc degree in Economics from the Long Beach University, Los Angeles. He is also an Associate member, Nigeria Institute of Management (AMNIM) and fellow of Business Administration (FIBN) Alumni, Association of National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies.
On completion of his youth service, Nabegu joined the family business (Nabegu Company Nigeria Ltd) in 1985 Aminu Baba Nabegu is a shrewd entrepreneur and business man with a high sense of integrity and commitment and dedication to duty. He sits on the board of several companies in various of the Nigerian economy at various times. He has over 30 years hands on experience of business background in National Environment especially in the local terrain of the Nigerian’s second largest commercial city and industrial hub after Lagos.
He is happily married with wife and children.

He is a thorough breed professional, a Stockbroker with over 17 years’ experience hands-on. He is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from the prestigious University of Benin. He started his career in Daar Communications Plc as the Head of Finance in 1998 and was instrumental in the setting up of the Abuja Sub-station Finance Department. In the quest for excellence and knowledge, he joined Crossworld Securities Limited in 2007 as Head of Operations and later moved to Cradle Trust Finance & Securities in 2009 as Head Dealing and Compliance. Due to his outstanding performance and vast knowledge of the Capital Market, Mr. Egberi 2014 was appointed as the Managing Director of Funds Matrix & Assets Management Limited.
Currently, he is the Managing Director/ CEO of Financial Trust Company Nigeria Limited. He has carried out several research works on the Nigeria capital market. Mr. Egberi is a Community leader and has flair for Sport and Farming. He is happily married with children.
MATTHEW SUNDAY OJO

He is the Chief Dealer of Financial Trust Company Nigeria Ltd, a Seasoned Chartered Stockbroker and Portfolio Manager. He started his Investment Banking career with Quantum Securities Limited, then he also worked with Profound Securities Ltd, Partnership Investment Company Ltd, and Rostrum Investment & Securities Ltd as Senior Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration Degree in Finance from same Ahmadu Bello University. Zaria. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers as well as an Authorised Dealing Clerk of The Nigerian Stock Exchange.
LAWRENCE ADEFEMI ADEKOYA

He is a seasoned professional with over 15 years working experience in Financial Services Industry and he has worked in Three (3) Most Respectable and 1st Tier Banks in Nigeria. He started his banking career with First Bank of Nigeria Ltd in 2001 and he worked in various department of the bank such as Branch Operations, Compliance and Consumer Finance. He joined Guaranty Trust Bank Plc in 2007 to drive their Retail Banking and he worked in various major branches in Lagos Central of the Bank. He advanced his career in 2012 to joined Access Bank Plc and worked in Business Banking Directorate at their various branches as Relationship Manager. He later joined Advans La Fayette Micro-Finance Bank, French internationally owned Micro-Finance Bank as the Pioneer Deposit & Financial Services Manager and he also worked briefly with Electronic Payplus Ltd as Head, Sales & Marketing and Union Commercial Insurance Brokers Ltd as Head, Business Development. He holds B.Sc. Business Administration from Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State and MBA Management from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. He is a seasoned Chartered Accountant and an Associate Member of ICAN. He holds a BSc. Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State. He had acquired experiences that spanned across many sectors of the economy and occupied various positions among them are; Three Points Manufacturing Company, Lagos as Accounts Manager, Tastee Fried Chicken Lagos as Senior Manager (Internal Audit), Motorway Group of Company, Lagos as Finance Manager and Kay Global Limited (Oil and Gas Service Company) as Finance Manager. He is currently the Head of Accounts for Financial Trust Company.

Igboegwu Chinwe Maureen is the Chief Compliance Officer of Financial Trust Company Nigeria Limited. She started her investment banking career with the company as Portfolio Manager, where she
Managed the Currency Exchange Limited, a subsidiary of Financial Trust Company Nigeria Limited where she was trading on Foreign Currency on behalf of the company from the Central Bank of Nigeria. She holds a B. A degree in History & International Relations from Lagos State University, Ojo, and also had training in Customer Relationship Management from Fosad Consulting.
